Search groups on KIK and app tutorial 2016
KIK is a mobile phone
application which runs in Android, IOS and Windows devices. It is also a
messaging application like WhatsApp and Viber. Users can send text messages,
pictures, audios, videos, gifts and many more things to their friends using
KIK. There are also public group chats in KIK. If you are still using the older
versions, you can search the groups in KIK by using the hashtag feature. This
feature allows you to find existing groups and it will also allow you to create
a new group with maximum 50 people in it.
If you want to search for
a group in the older version of KIK, first you need to go to the chat list and
tap “Talk To” icon. Then enter the hashtag in the search bar and select the
group you wish to join. So as you can see, searching for a group chat in an
older version of KIK is so easy.
The search group feature
in KIK got little bit different with the release of its new update. KIK
developers have introduced a new scanner screen in order to join a group. You
have to scan that code from your mobile phone and ones it is done successfully
you will be added to the group. At the bottom of the chat room it will display
“You joined the group by scanning a KIK code created by this person”. You can
now search for groups in KIK using this method.
