New features of Office 2016

Microsoft Office is a package which have so many software rapped in it. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, OneNote, Publisher and OneDrive are some of the software which includes in Microsoft Office package. The history of Microsoft Office goes way back to 1990. Microsoft Company launched their first official MS Office package in 19^th November 1990 for the people in the world to make their work easy. The table below will show the evolution MS Office and it’s new features;

·         1990 – Microsoft Office 1.0 was launched. (Word 1.1, Excel 2.0 and PowerPoint 2.0)

·         1991 – Microsoft Office 1.1 was launched. (Word 1.1, Excel 3.0 and PowerPoint 2.0)

·         1992 – Microsoft Office 3.0 was launched. (Word 2.0, Excel 4.0a and PowerPoint 3.0)

·         1994 – Microsoft Office 4.0 was launched. (Word 6.0, Excel 4.0 and PowerPoint 3.0)

·         1995 – Microsoft Office 95 was launched. (Word 95, Excel 95 and PowerPoint 95)

·         1996 – Microsoft Office 97 was released introducing office Assistant to the world.

·         1999 – Microsoft Office 2000 was released with an enhanced security system and a   smoother interface.

·         2001 – Microsoft Office XP was launched with new features.

·         2003 – Microsoft Office 2003 version was released. This version was knows as the most used version of Microsoft Office because of its functions and highly protected security system.

·         2007 – Microsoft Office 2007 was released. The new look of the interface brought a professional look for the work and also for the users.

·         2010 – Microsoft Office 2010 was launched. The new feature of web applications was introduced in 2010 Office package.

·         2013 – Microsoft office 2013 was released. Word 2013, Excel 2013 and PowerPoint 2013 was the versions of the Office package. This package also contained a new feature called OneDrive. OneDrive will help people to upload their personal data into a cloud so that people can access them from different location.

The evolution of the MS Office has begun from 1990 and here it is 2016 now. Microsoft Company has officially launched their new Office package which is known as Office 2016. The Office 16 package was available for OS X on 9^th July 2015 and it was available for Microsoft Windows on 22^nd September 2015. Office 2016 is known as the latest version of Microsoft Office family. This latest version is also available for touchscreens and mobile devices. Office 2016 was launched not like same as Office 2013 but with some enhanced features and security. Here are some of the new features of Office 16;
